The Neutrality Monument is a distinctive 75-meter tall tripod arch in Ashgabat, crowned with a golden statue of former president Saparmurat Niyazov that rotates to follow the sun. It commemorates Turkmenistan's official policy of neutrality, recognized by the UN. Visitors can ascend to an observation deck for panoramic views of the city's marble-clad buildings and fountains. The monument is illuminated at night, creating a striking landmark against the skyline.
