The İzmir Atatürk Museum occupies a two-story stone mansion built in the late 19th century, used by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk during his stays in the city. The museum preserves the rooms as they were during his visits, with original furniture, personal items, and photographs. Visitors can see Atatürk’s study, bedroom, and reception hall, each decorated in the style of the early Republic. The museum also displays documents and gifts presented to him. Its location on the Kordon makes it easy to combine with a walk along the waterfront. The intimate scale offers a personal glimpse into Atatürk’s life.
