The Tomb of Amyntas is a striking ancient Lycian rock-cut tomb dating from the 4th century BC, carved into a vertical cliff face overlooking Fethiye. It features a temple-like facade with two Ionic columns and a pediment, and an inscription identifies it as the tomb of Amyntas, son of Hermapias. Visitors climb a steep path to reach the tomb, where they can examine the detailed stonework and enjoy sweeping views of Fethiye, the harbor, and the surrounding mountains. The site is one of the best-preserved Lycian tombs in the region and offers a glimpse into the funerary practices of this ancient civilization.
