Karanlik Kümbet (Dark Tomb) is a 13th-century Seljuk mausoleum known for its shadowy interior and masterful brick decoration. The name comes from the lack of windows, which creates a somber, contemplative atmosphere. The exterior showcases intricate brick patterns, including a band of Kufic inscriptions. Inside, a single sarcophagus sits beneath the high dome. The tomb is part of a small cemetery and offers a quiet, off-the-beaten-path glimpse into Seljuk craftsmanship.
