Ziya Gökalp Museum is set in the house where the influential Turkish intellectual was born and lived. The museum chronicles his life as a sociologist, poet, and key figure in Turkish nationalism. The restored building itself reflects the traditional Diyarbakir architecture of the late 19th century.
