The Red Basilica, also known as the Red Hall, is a colossal Roman temple constructed from red brick in the 2nd century AD. Originally dedicated to the Egyptian gods Serapis and Isis, it was later transformed into a Byzantine church. The structure features a massive central hall flanked by two round towers, one of which now houses a mosque. Visitors can explore the interior and see remnants of marble cladding and mosaics.
