The Carthage Punic Ports consist of two distinct harbors: a rectangular commercial port for merchant ships and a circular military port that housed the Carthaginian navy. Visitors can walk along the remains of the military port, which once held up to 220 warships in covered ship sheds. The site offers a tangible connection to Carthage's maritime dominance, with interpretive signs explaining the layout. A small museum displays artifacts recovered from the harbor, including anchors and amphorae.
