Pupput is a Roman archaeological site located just south of Hammamet, dating back to the 2nd century AD. The ruins include thermal baths, a large necropolis with hundreds of tombs, and several houses with intact mosaic floors depicting mythological scenes. Visitors can walk among the excavated structures and imagine daily life in this once-thriving Roman colony. The site is less crowded than other Tunisian ruins, offering a more intimate experience. A small on-site museum displays artifacts found during excavations, including pottery and statues.
