Byrsa Hill is the ancient citadel of Carthage, originally the site of the city's acropolis. Today, it features a complex of archaeological remains spanning Punic, Roman, and Byzantine periods, including a Punic necropolis and Roman cisterns. The hilltop provides a commanding view of the surrounding area and the sea. Visitors can explore the excavated ruins, see the remains of a Roman basilica, and enjoy the peaceful garden setting. The Carthage Museum is also located here.
