Wat Lamai, also known as Wat Lamai Temple, is a prominent Buddhist temple located in the heart of Lamai Beach area on Koh Samui. The temple's main attraction is a towering golden Buddha statue seated in the lotus position, which glimmers in the tropical sun. The temple grounds also include a traditional Thai-style ubosot (ordination hall) with ornate roof finials and colorful murals depicting the life of the Buddha.
