The USS Stark County (LST-1134) is a retired US Navy tank landing ship that now serves as a unique museum and artificial reef near Ko Pha-ngan. Sunk intentionally in 2013 to create a dive attraction, the wreck lies in about 20 meters of water, accessible to both snorkelers and divers. Visitors can explore the ship's decks and compartments, now encrusted with coral and home to marine life. Above water, the ship's bridge and some areas are preserved as a floating museum, offering a glimpse into naval history. This distinctive attraction combines maritime heritage with underwater adventure.
