I’m sorry. The fact that this restaurant is number 9 on the list is quite laughable. The innovative concept and storytelling? Sure. It does offer theatrical elements and quite lengthy speeches from the employees. But there is no single dish that is outstanding in terms of flavor or techniques. I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the night at all without wine pairing. There is no real ‘new interpretation’ of the traditional indian dishes. The pacing of the serving and the execution left a lot to be desired.

Love the way the food is presented and very well crafted. It’s a different Gaggan than what it used to be. Maybe better or more engaging and very theatrical. At times intimidating, but you’re here for a unique experience. There are lighting drama, food presentation exhibition and lots of singing at the end. If you don’t like having a nice meal in a club-like ambience, then this is not your place because the music can get very loud. It’s good to experience for once. I would come back here if a different theme or experience is offered. I’d say worth the price, although it’s something that you will only do (to spend a hefty price) once in your life.

Very Theatrical :) Really enjoyed our evening. Very cool vibe with the music and the presentation of the foods. They worked hard to connect with the diners. I don't think the food was the best, but very good. The evening was very entertaining. I thought it was nice that the whole staff thanked the diners individually. Nice touch. I would recommend to try at least once.

I walked into Gaggan expecting a world-class culinary experience, but instead, I got a pricey tribute to the ego of Mr. Singh. Let me be clear: this was not about the food—it was all about him. The dishes felt like an afterthought, overshadowed by his over-the-top theatrics, which took center stage all night long. It’s one thing to put on a show, but when the entire experience feels like a vanity project, it becomes frustrating. The food itself was a massive letdown. For a restaurant that charges such exorbitant prices, the flavors were shockingly bland and unimpressive. Some dishes were downright confusing and failed to deliver on taste. Creative presentation doesn't excuse a lack of flavor—especially when you're paying a small fortune for the privilege. What really pushed this experience into uncomfortable territory was the lack of basic hygiene. Watching Mr. Singh handle the food with his bare hands was disturbing and completely unacceptable for a restaurant that prides itself on being elite. It ruined any appetite I had left. Ultimately, the evening felt less like fine dining and more like an expensive spectacle glorifying Mr. Singh. He may think he's the star of the show, but he completely missed the point of why people come to restaurants like Gaggan: for excellent food, not for an ego-driven performance. Save your money and dine somewhere that actually values its customers.
