Wat Pho, officially Wat Phra Chetuphon, is one of Bangkok's oldest and largest temples, famous for its enormous reclining Buddha statue. The gold-plated figure measures 46 meters in length and 15 meters in height, depicting the Buddha entering nirvana. The temple complex also houses the Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage School, where visitors can receive authentic massages or learn the art. Beyond the reclining Buddha, the temple grounds feature over 1,000 Buddha images, four large chedis, and beautiful courtyards with Chinese stone statues. It's a working temple and a center for learning.
