Wat Phara Ram is a significant temple ruin within the Ayutthaya Historical Park, known for its large central prang (tower) and a peaceful pond that reflects the ancient structures. Visitors can explore the crumbling brick and laterite remains, imagining the temple's former grandeur. The site offers a quieter experience compared to more crowded ruins, making it ideal for contemplation and photography. The prang, though partially collapsed, still displays intricate stucco decorations, and the surrounding grounds are dotted with smaller chedis and statues.
Don't miss
- Climb the central prang for views over the temple complex and pond.
- Photograph the reflection of the prang in the adjacent pond.
- Examine the remaining stucco carvings on the prang's base.
