The Paper Dome is a remarkable structure in Yuchi, originally built in Japan as a temporary church after the 1995 Kobe earthquake, then relocated to Taiwan after the 1999 Jiji earthquake. Constructed from 58 large paper tubes, it demonstrates the strength and beauty of paper architecture. Today, it functions as a community center and venue for events, with an interior filled with warm light filtering through the paper walls. Visitors can explore the dome, learn about its history of resilience, and appreciate the innovative design.
