Zhuputan Temple is a centuries-old Taoist sanctuary dedicated to Mazu, the goddess of the sea, who is revered by fishermen and sailors. The temple's facade is adorned with exquisite woodcarvings, stone dragons, and colorful ceramic tiles depicting mythological scenes. Inside, the air is thick with incense as devotees pray for safe voyages. A quiet courtyard offers a respite from the city, with ancient banyan trees providing shade.
