The Remains of the 13 Levels is a striking abandoned gold processing plant that climbs the hillside in a series of terraces, visible from afar. Originally built by the Japanese during the gold mining era, the structure's skeletal concrete frames and empty windows create a haunting silhouette against the sky. Visitors can walk among the ruins, which offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby Yin Yang Sea. It's a favorite spot for photographers, especially at sunset when the light casts long shadows through the empty levels.
