The Tour de Sauvabelin is a 35-meter-high wooden tower located in Sauvabelin Park, a forested area on a hill above Lausanne. Built from local Douglas fir, the tower features a spiral ramp that winds upward, making the climb gradual and accessible. At the top, visitors are rewarded with a panoramic view that encompasses the entire city of Lausanne, Lake Geneva, and the Alps from Mont Blanc to the Jura range. The park itself is a peaceful retreat with a small lake, playgrounds, and picnic areas, popular among families and joggers. The tower is free to climb and offers a unique perspective on the city's layout, including the cathedral and the Olympic Stadium.
