Huwiler Tower is one of the few remaining medieval towers that once formed part of Zug's defensive walls. Standing tall in the old town, this stone structure has been carefully preserved and now serves as a tangible link to the city's past. Visitors can climb the narrow spiral staircase to the top, where a viewing platform provides sweeping vistas over the red-tiled roofs of Zug, the shimmering Lake Zug, and the distant Alps. Inside, the tower features small exhibits on its history and the city's fortifications, with informational panels in German and English. The climb is steep but rewarding, and the tower's compact size makes it a quick but memorable stop. Its sturdy medieval architecture contrasts with the modern life buzzing in the streets below, offering a quiet moment of reflection.
