Schynige Platte

Schynige Platte, perched at 1,967 meters, is a classic Alpine viewpoint that rewards visitors with sweeping vistas of the Bernese Oberland's most iconic peaks: the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The journey itself is an experience, as a historic cogwheel railway, operating since 1893, climbs from Wilderswil through flower-strewn meadows and forests.
