The Harderbahn is a funicular railway that takes visitors from Interlaken up to Harderkulm, a mountain viewpoint at 1,322 meters above sea level. The journey itself is an experience, climbing steeply through forests and alpine meadows. At the top, a viewing platform provides a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Jungfrau, Eiger, Mönch, and the turquoise waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. The area also features a restaurant and a children's playground, making it a family-friendly destination. The funicular operates year-round, with winter offering a snowy alpine landscape and summer providing lush greenery and clear skies.
