The Aroser Weisshorn is one of the most prominent peaks in the Arosa region, rising to 2,653 meters. It is easily accessible via a cable car from Arosa, making it a popular destination for both hikers and sightseers. The summit offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Swiss Alps, including the Weisshorn chain, the Schanfigg valley, and on clear days, views stretching to the Bernese Alps. At the top, there is a mountain restaurant where visitors can enjoy a meal while taking in the scenery. Several hiking trails radiate from the summit, including the scenic Weisshorn Panorama Trail, which leads along the ridge to the neighbouring Hörnli mountain. In winter, the area is part of the Arosa ski resort, with slopes suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers. The experience of riding the cable car up the steep mountainside is itself a highlight, offering dramatic views of the valley below.
