The Kyrkogården Runestones are a group of several runestones from the 11th century, located in the churchyard of St. Mary's Church. These stones bear inscriptions in the Younger Futhark, commemorating deceased individuals and their deeds. They provide insight into Viking Age society, religion, and language. Visitors can examine the intricate carvings up close, including one of the most famous, the 'Sigtuna stone' with a cross and runic text.
