Luossavaara is a 724-meter-high mountain adjacent to Kiruna, known for its hiking trails and small ski slope. A popular trail leads to the summit, rewarding hikers with sweeping views of the town, the Kiruna mine, and the vast forests and lakes beyond. In winter, the slope offers downhill skiing and snowboarding. The mountain is also dotted with remnants of old mining activity, adding a historical layer to the natural scenery.
