Jukkasjärvi is a tiny village (population around 500) situated along the Torne River, known primarily as the location of the famous Icehotel. Beyond the ice, it offers a glimpse into Sami culture through local handicraft shops and the Jukkasjärvi Church, one of Sweden's oldest wooden churches, built in 1607. Visitors can experience reindeer sledding, learn about Sami traditions, and enjoy the serene Arctic landscape. The village's isolation and small size make it a quiet base for winter adventures.

Don't miss
