Norre Port is a historic city gate dating from the early 1600s, built as part of Halmstad's fortifications. It is one of the best-preserved city gates in Sweden and marks the old northern entrance to the town. The gate features a distinctive stone arch and a guardhouse atop. Visitors can walk through the gate, imagining the centuries of traffic that passed beneath, and see the surrounding remnants of the old city wall. It's a popular photo spot and a tangible link to Halmstad's past.
