The Temple of the Tooth, or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is the holiest Buddhist site in Sri Lanka, enshrining a relic of the Buddha's tooth. Visitors walk through serene courtyards and ornate halls, observing rituals and offerings. The temple's architecture blends Kandyan and colonial styles, with intricate carvings and a golden roof. The relic is kept in a golden casket, and during daily puja ceremonies, devotees offer flowers and incense. The complex also includes a museum with artifacts and a sacred bo tree.
