Thuparamaya is a significant Buddhist stupa in Anuradhapura, believed to be the oldest in Sri Lanka. Constructed by King Devanampiya Tissa in the 3rd century BCE, it enshrines the right collarbone of the Buddha. The stupa's distinctive bell shape and surrounding stone pillars create a serene atmosphere. Visitors can walk around the stupa, observe ancient inscriptions, and feel the deep historical and religious importance of the site.
