The Plaza de Toros de Valencia is a striking neoclassical bullring built in the 19th century, located next to the city's main train station. Its design was inspired by Roman amphitheaters, with a diameter of over 50 meters and seating for about 10,000 spectators. While bullfighting remains a traditional event here, the venue also hosts major concerts, festivals, and cultural events throughout the year. Visitors can tour the ring, walk through the grandstands, and visit the on-site bullfighting museum (Museu Taurí) to learn about the history and controversy of the practice. The architecture alone is worth seeing, with its arched entrances and sandy arena.
