The Cave of Altxerri is a prehistoric site near Zarautz, part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing for the Cave of Altamira and Paleolithic Cave Art of Northern Spain. Access is limited to small groups to preserve the fragile art, and visitors must book in advance.
