Valldemossa Charterhouse is a former Carthusian monastery perched in the Tramuntana mountains. Visitors explore the austere monks' cells, the pharmacy, and the church. Its fame largely stems from the winter of 1838–39, when Frédéric Chopin and George Sand stayed here; their rooms are preserved with memorabilia. The tranquil cloisters and terraced gardens offer sweeping valley views, making it a serene cultural stop.
