San Sebastián Cathedral, officially the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, is a striking neo-Gothic church that dominates the city's skyline. Completed in 1897, it was designed by architect Manuel de Echave in a style reminiscent of medieval European cathedrals. The exterior features twin spires, intricate stonework, and a large rose window. Inside, the cathedral is spacious and light-filled, with soaring vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, and a grand altar. The church is an active place of worship, but visitors are welcome to explore its nave and chapels. Its central location on the Plaza del Buen Pastor makes it an easy stop during a walking tour of San Sebastián.
