Miramar Palace is a stately early 20th-century mansion set on a grassy headland between La Concha and Ondarreta beaches. Built as a summer residence for the Spanish royal family, the palace combines English cottage-style architecture with local stone. The building itself is not open to the public, but the surrounding gardens and grounds are free to explore. From the manicured lawns, you can enjoy some of the best views of La Concha Bay, with the island of Santa Clara in the distance. The palace grounds are a popular spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic, or simply sitting on a bench and watching the waves. The location is also a starting point for walks along the coastal path to the nearby Peine del Viento sculptures.
