La Concha Bay is the stunning natural harbor that gives San Sebastián its world-famous beach and elegant seaside promenade. The bay is shaped like a perfect scallop shell, with golden sand stretching for about 1.4 kilometers between Monte Igueldo and Monte Urgull. The water is calm and clean, making it ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The promenade, Paseo de la Concha, is lined with ornate railings, classic streetlamps, and benches, offering breathtaking views of the bay and the distant mountains. At one end stands the iconic La Perla spa, and at the other, the Royal Palace of Miramar. The bay is also home to the famous 'La Concha' beach, which is one of the most photographed urban beaches in Europe. Whether you're sunbathing, strolling, or enjoying a drink at a seaside café, La Concha Bay is the vibrant social heart of the city.
