Arriate is a charming whitewashed village located just a few kilometers from Ronda, offering a quieter alternative to the tourist crowds. Its narrow, winding streets are lined with flower pots and traditional houses, leading to the central Plaza de la Iglesia, dominated by the 16th-century Church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios.
