The town is divided into two distinct areas: Torrox Costa, the beachfront area with a lively promenade and sandy beaches like El Morche, and Torrox Pueblo, the original whitewashed village set inland on a hill. The historic center of Torrox Pueblo features narrow streets, a Moorish fortress, and the Plaza de la Constitución with its iconic fountain.
