Porrúa is a quintessential Asturian village perched on a hilltop about 8 km from Llanes. Its narrow, winding streets are lined with centuries-old stone houses, many featuring the region's characteristic wooden balconies and hórreos (raised granaries). The village's main attraction is the Museo Etnográfico del Oriente de Asturias, housed in a restored 18th-century building, which showcases traditional rural life, including tools, costumes, and household items. Porrúa also offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the distant Picos de Europa. It's a living museum of Asturian heritage, less crowded than other tourist hubs.
