The Arab Baths of Jaén are among the best-preserved Islamic bathhouses in Spain, dating back to the 11th century. Located beneath the Palacio de Villardompardo, these baths feature horseshoe arches, star-shaped skylights, and a series of rooms for cold, warm, and hot baths. The museum displays artifacts and explains the social and hygienic role of baths in Moorish society. Visitors can wander through the atmospheric chambers, imagining the steam and chatter of medieval bathers. The intricate brickwork and geometric patterns highlight the sophistication of Moorish design.
