The Tholos de El Romeral is a well-preserved Bronze Age tholos tomb dating to around 2200–2000 BCE, distinct from the earlier Dolmen of Menga. Its corbelled roof, built by overlapping stone layers, creates a beehive-shaped chamber that demonstrates advanced engineering. Visitors descend into the earth to explore the circular burial room and a smaller side chamber, experiencing the cool, dim atmosphere of an ancient funerary monument. The site provides insight into later megalithic traditions and is a key component of the UNESCO World Heritage listing.
