Gwanggyo Lake Park is Suwon's premier urban green space, built around a large artificial lake with walking and cycling paths. The park features two distinctive bridges: the curved, illuminated Moon Bridge and the modern Wave Bridge. Visitors can rent bikes, paddle boats, or simply stroll along the waterfront. Seasonal events like cherry blossom viewing in spring, summer concerts, and winter light festivals draw crowds. The park's design integrates nature with modern architecture, offering a peaceful escape from the city.
Don't miss
- Cross the Moon Bridge at night when it is lit with colorful LED lights.
- Rent a bicycle and cycle the 4.5-kilometer path around the entire lake.
- Visit during cherry blossom season (early April) for stunning pink blooms along the lake.
