Miaksan is a volcanic peak on Jeju's south coast, known for its accessible hiking trails and panoramic vistas. The climb to the summit takes about an hour, winding through lush forest and past rocky outcrops. At the top, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views of Seogwipo city, the turquoise ocean, and the distant Hallasan. The trail is well-marked and suitable for most fitness levels. Along the way, interpretive signs explain the area's volcanic geology and flora. It's a peaceful escape from the city and a great spot for sunrise or sunset.
