Haengjusanseong is a well-preserved mountain fortress built during the Joseon Dynasty, strategically located on a hill overlooking the Han River. Visitors can walk along the restored stone walls, explore the fortress gates, and enjoy sweeping views of the river and surrounding landscape. The site is particularly known for its role in the Battle of Haengju (1593), where Korean forces defended against Japanese invaders. Today, it's a peaceful spot for hiking and history appreciation, with interpretive signs explaining its significance.
