Ojukheon is a serene historic house museum in Gangneung, best known as the birthplace of the revered Confucian scholar Yulgok. The complex preserves traditional Joseon-era buildings, including the main hall and a study, set amid tranquil gardens. A highlight is the massive ginkgo tree in the courtyard, said to be over 400 years old. Visitors can explore the museum's exhibits on Yulgok's life and the region's history, and admire the elegant wooden architecture and scenic surroundings.
