Apsan Park is a mountain park on the southern edge of Daegu, popular for its hiking trails and cable car. The summit, at 660 meters, offers sweeping views of the city and surrounding mountains. Visitors can hike up via well-marked trails through pine forests and past Buddhist temples, or take the cable car for a quick ascent. At the top, observation decks and a café provide spots to relax. The park also features a fortress wall and a small museum on local history. It's a favorite spot for sunrise and sunset views.
Don't miss
- Ride the Apsan Cable Car for a scenic 5-minute ascent to the summit.
- Hike the Seongbulsa Temple trail, passing a historic temple with a giant Buddha statue.
- Watch the sunset from the top observation deck, with Daegu glowing below.
