The Union Buildings are the official seat of the South African government and house the offices of the president. Perched on Meintjieskop, the buildings offer stunning views over Pretoria's gardens and cityscape. Visitors can admire the neoclassical architecture, stroll through the manicured terraced gardens, and see the 9-meter-tall bronze statue of Nelson Mandela. The site is also a popular spot for national celebrations and protests.

Don't miss
