The Johannesburg South Africa Temple is a prominent religious landmark of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located in the suburb of Parktown. Completed in 1985, its gleaming white granite exterior and six spires, topped with a golden angel Moroni statue, make it a distinctive sight. The temple sits on beautifully landscaped grounds with manicured gardens and a visitor center that explains the temple's purpose and architecture. While only members may enter the temple, the grounds and visitor center are open to all, offering a peaceful retreat and insight into LDS beliefs.
