The Carlton Centre is a 50-story skyscraper in downtown Johannesburg, once the tallest building in Africa. Its observation deck, known as the Top of Africa, offers 360-degree views of the city and surrounding areas, including the Magaliesberg mountains on clear days. The building also houses offices and a shopping center. Visitors take a high-speed elevator to the 50th floor, where they can enjoy the vista and take photos. It's a must-visit for first-time visitors to get a lay of the land.
