Lion's Head is a striking peak situated between Table Mountain and Signal Hill, its rounded shape resembling a crouching lion. The hike to the summit is a Cape Town favorite, winding through fynbos and up rocky sections with the aid of ladders and chains. The effort rewards hikers with breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, Table Bay, and the Atlantic seaboard. It's also a prime spot for paragliding, with tandem flights launching from the slopes. The full moon hike is a beloved local tradition, when the trail is lit by moonlight.
