Arba'a Rukun Mosque is a historic Islamic site in the Hamar Weyne district, believed to have been built in 1269 by the ruler Khusrau ibn Muhammad. Its name means 'Four Pillars,' referencing the four stone columns that support its roof. The mosque is constructed from coral stone, a traditional building material, and its minaret is one of the oldest in the region. Inside, visitors can see intricate mihrab decorations and ancient Arabic inscriptions. The mosque remains an active place of worship, offering a serene atmosphere amid the bustling old city.
