Tartini Square is the bustling heart of Piran, an oval-shaped piazza where locals and visitors gather. Named after the renowned 18th-century violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini, who was born in Piran, the square features a bronze statue of Tartini at its center. Surrounded by pastel-colored Venetian Gothic and Baroque buildings, including the town hall and the Marušič House, the square is paved with white stone and opens onto the harbor. Visitors can enjoy café terraces, street performances, and the lively atmosphere of this historic maritime town.
